MARK'S REVIEWS OF THE AMERICAN FILM INSTITUTE'S 100 YEARS...100 THRILLS LIST

And here we go again! A little over a year after my last Marvel review, I decided to choose a new list to go through, and I landed on the AFI's 100 Years...100 Thrills list.
A list of the most thrilling and chilling American movies ever made, according to a bunch of people I've never met before. You can find the list here: 100 Years...100 Thrills

Some Notes:
  • I'll start at #100 and go down from there
  • I'm not going to shy away from supplementing this list! If there's a movie that I think would pair up nicely with the ones on the list, I'll watch that and review it too. Plus, this list was apparently made in 2002, and only considered American movies, so there are some pretty big omissions. Mad Max: Fury Road, for example, wasn't included, and in my opinion it belongs in the top 10 at least. And right off the bat, we're starting with the 1938 The Adventures of Robin Hood, which I've never seen. But you know what else I haven't seen? Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves from 1991. Let's add that to the mix! And if you have any requests for supplementary movies, hey, comment on my reviews! I can't promise I'll do all of them, but if something strikes my fancy, I just might!
  • Each review will have a Thrill Score from 1 to 10. They'll also include the Rotten Tomatoes score and consensus, the IMDB synopsis, the info about whether or not I've seen it before, and I'm thinking of also including the best sequence of the movie and/or best quote. Maybe we'll come up with some more regular features!
  • I'll set a goal of 1 movie per week minimum, aim for 2 per week when I can, and who knows, if I find a groove maybe I'll bump that up to 3
And we're off! Check out the list and tell me what you're excited for me to watch, or if you already have suggestions for additional movies to add. And PLEASE, if you're at all interested, feel free to watch along with me and join in on the conversation!
